The Weekend Show - Radio Caroline at Sea

London Weekend Television (LWT) was the ITV network franchise holder for Greater London and the Home Counties at weekends, broadcasting from Friday evenings to Monday mornings.

The Weekend Show was a light-hearted magazine programme  focusing on entertainment, music and the arts in the London area.

In this edition programme presenter, Janet Street Porter, visits the Mi Amigo, home of Radio Caroline, which was still broadcasting at sea  ten years after the introduction of the Marine etc Broadcasting )Offences) Act 1967. Includes contributions from Ronan O’Rahilly
